Leadership
David Shutts
David Shutts serves as the Chief Operating Officer of CPL Hardscape and Landscape Construction. Mr. Shutts brings over 12 years in senior and executive leadership roles within the orthodontic industry most recently with publicly traded Align Technology (ALGN: makers of Invisalign) and Boca Dental Management (Vista Orthodontics). During his tenure at Align, Mr. Shutts was tasked with the creation, implementation, go-to-market strategy and scaling the Digital Adoption channel. The Digital Adoption channel was an industry first of what is now an industry standard. At Boca Dental Management Services, Mr. Shutts served as the CEO and currently serves in a Board capacity. Mr. Shutts brings expertise in change management and driving successful organizations to high growth. Mr. Shutts passion lies in helping scale organizations by implementing proven systems and processes to fuel growth.
Mr. Shutts earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
In his spare time Mr. Shutts has a passion for golf and travel. Currently residing in Estero, FL his wife Amy who is a kindergarten teacher and his two children Addison (10) and Lincon (6).
Ron Jefferson
Our EVP of operations and landscape, Ron was born and raised here in Southwest Florida. Ron went to work for a large construction company after high school and worked doing construction layout on major construction and Highway projects from 2003-2010. In 2010 Ron went to work for a landscape company doing their speciality projects and irrigation. In 2016 Ron started his own Landscape company as a FNGLA certified horticulture professional.
Chase Bertucci
Our EVP of hardscape work, Chase is a graduate of the agricultural & horticultural program at LSU. Born in Naples Florida and a graduate of Naples HS, Chase has returned to Naples to continue growing & honing his craft. Chase oversee’s daily hardscape & landscape installations and enjoys working directly with CPL’s clients.
